Jackson State University To Host Youth Basketball Camp

Jackson State University will be hosting a basketball youth camp on July 29 – August 1. The camp will be run by the Tigers’ head basketball coach Wayne Brent. For more info on the camp view the photo below.

Tyreke Evans Hits The Mayor Of Seattle With A Crossover

Nobody is safe from getting hit with a crossover when getting on a basketball court and Tyreke Evans proved that in the Seattle pro-am. The New Orleans Pelicans guard/forward put the Mayor of Seattle, Mike McGinn, on a highlight reel by crossing him over and scoring on him. To the Mayor’s credit, he came back down the court and got an assist on a no look pass.


Soccer Player Nails A 70 Yard Goal (Video)

Soccer player Daniel Ludueña nailed a game winning 70 yard goal. This a beautiful play so, even if you aren’t a true soccer fan, you will appreciate this goal.

Yasiel Puig is the new rebel in the MLB. Today the rookie Dodger hit a walk off home-run and slides into home base after. I love the way this guy plays the game. Many are angry about his antics, but it brings some flare to the game that desperately needs it.

Lebron James Hits The Court In The Philippines


Lebron James made a visit to the Philippines with Nike Basketball and decided to hit the court.

During the visit, James participated in a basketball showcase at the Mall of Asia Arena where roaring fans filled the stadium. The four-time league MVP joined in a training session with Nike athletes from high school, collegiate and professional teams, working on their basketball skills during the pick-up clinic. The first-hand experience with James helped motivate players to pursue excellence in their on-going basketball season.

The main event culminated in James coaching the youth participants of the clinic in an exhibition game against a team of Nike athletes that included professional and national team players. He later left a message of inspiration to the Filipino youth and wished them well on their basketball endeavors.

Kevin Durant Slams One Down At Drew League

Kevin Durant joined the Drew League ballers today in Seattle. Durant’s team was said to have lost the game, but this dunk is one of the highlights that stood out.

Oregon Ducks Picked To Win Pac-12

The Oregon Ducks will be lead by new head coach Mark Helfrich this season after losing Chip Kelly to the NFL. Even with a new leader, the Ducks have been picked by the voters to win the PAC-12. Oregon has 145 first-place votes and that is followed by the Stanford Cardinals with 139 votes. The last time the Ducks were voted as the preseason Pac-12 favorite the team ended up winning the conference. Let’s see if they will have the same luck this year.

Louisiana Ragin Cajuns Unveils New Uniforms

The Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana Lafayette will be hitting the football field with a new look this upcoming season. The Cajuns unveiled their new uniforms on Thursday and gave their fans a chance to see the new gear. The team will have 24 different uniform combinations.

Anthony Davis Dunks, Ryan Anderson Gets Dunked On In Team USA Showcase

Anthony Davis scored 22 points during the Blue vs White Team USA Showcase. Davis had a highlight when he blocked an alley oop in mid air and dribbled it down the court to slam it down.

Harrison Barnes also had a highlight when he dunked on Ryan Anderson.
