Pelicans Guard Eric Gordon Undergoes Arthroscopic Procedure

New Orleans Pelicans guard Eric Gordon had an arthroscopic procedure done on his ankle yesterday. The procedure is said to have been successful. Gordon averaged 17 ppg for the Pelicans this past season while playing only half of the season. The Pelicans released a statement about the procedure-

The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that guard Eric Gordon underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure yesterday in his left ankle to alleviate pain caused by particles of scar tissue. The procedure was performed by Dr. Richard Ferkel of the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles, CA.

Gordon is currently recovering from the procedure and will begin rehabilitation immediately while returning to basketball activities later in the summer.

Hopefully, this will be the procedure that gets Gordon back on track. He’s been suffering with different injuries for the past couple of seasons and it would be a shame to see a player with so much talent not reach his potential.

Kevin Durant Responds To Royce White’s Twitter Comments “Who’s That?”

After the Rockets defeated the Thunder in game 5, Houston player Royce White took to twitter to mock Kevin Durant. The thing is, White hasn’t played a game yet this season. Today, Durant was asked about White’s twitter comments and here’s what he had to say…

“Who is that?” Durant asked when asked his reaction to White’s comments….

“I haven’t seen him on the bench,” Durant said. “I haven’t seen him on the bench. So, I mean, I’m not worried about guys that’s not even in our series. Ain’t that the guy that’s afraid to fly? Well I wish him the best, man, and if I see him next year I’ll let him know who were are.”

Atlanta Falcons New Billion Dollar Stadium Idea

Falcons new Stadium design

The Atlanta Falcons have a billion dollars to spend on a stadium and, from the looks of it, they are going to build a kick ass one with the money. The mock design of the stadium ideas have been released and, to be honest, I love them. One has a retractable roof that opens and closes like a camera lens. The stadium will also have impact seats that vibrate as hard hits happen on the field.

As a Saints fan, I hope the ideas go sour but, if they get a stadium anything like the ones in the pictures, they will have the fanciest place to play in the league. Too bad the fans only show up when the team is winning (Yes, I’m hating).
