The number 1 seeded Notre Dame defeated the 12th seeded Kansas Jayhawks and will now await the winner of the Duke and Nebraska game to see which team they will have to face for a trip to the Final Four.

Kentucky Guard Ryan Harrow Transferring To Georgia State

Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com is reporting that Kentucky Wildcats guard Ryan Harrow is transferring. Harrow, who hasn’t had the best career at Kentucky, will be transferring to Georgia State to be closer to his father.

Harrow talked to the The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and said:

“I really need to be home with him to be closer to him to make sure he’s taken care of,” Harrow said. He said his father is a basketball fan who can’t travel to watch him play. Being in Atlanta would enable Harrow to make sure his father is cared for, and would give his father a few chances to watch his son play.

NHL Player Sidney Crosby Hit In The Face With Puck

Sidney Crosby Hit On The Face With A Puck

The Pittsburgh Penguins are on one hell of a streak with winning 15 games in a row. However, I wonder if Sidney Crosby would trade a few of those victories for his teeth back. While facing the Islanders on Saturday, Crosby was hit in the face with the puck and had to have oral surgery after losing some of his teeth.

The NHL released a statement about the injury and it said:

“Sidney Crosby took a puck to the teeth, and lost a few of those. He had to have oral surgery. We’ll continue to evaluate and monitor that. That’s the report on ‘Sid’ going to the hospital and losing teeth.”

Crosby has been experiencing some rough injuries, lets all hope he can bounce back and be back to normal after this one.
