Tulane’s Ricky Tarrant Alley-Oop to Kajon Mack vs Marshall

The Tulane Green Wave had what was probably one of their best nights of the season yesterday against the Thundering Herd of Marshall. The Wave had a night that consisted of 17 assist and here is that one that stuck out.

We’ve seen these types of plays multiple times from the Miami Heat but for some reason they just keep getting better. Here’s the whole court alley-oop from D.Wade to Lebron last night that had the Rockets looking like the losing team on the Space Jam movie.

It took a little under a year, but Greg Williams has been reinstated by the NFL. We all know that Williams was suspended by Roger Goodell for his actions with the “Bounty Gate” in New Orleans. Today the Tennessee Titans have announced that they have hired Williams.

“Commissioner Roger Goodell today notified Gregg Williams and the Tennessee Titans that Williams’ contract with the Titans has been approved and that he has been reinstated,” the team said in a statement. “The commissioner cited several reasons for the reinstatement, including Williams’ forthcoming acknowledgement of and acceptance of responsibility for his role in the bounty program at the Saints, his commitment to never again be involved in a pay-for-performance or bounty system, and his pledge to teach safe play and respect for the rules at all levels of the game.

“I have known Gregg for over two decades and have seen him work his way up from a quality control coach to a head coach,” Munchak said. “He will bring a great deal of defensive knowledge and energy to our staff. The decision to bring him here only came after going through a thoughtful and thorough process.”

This officially ends all of the suspensions from the Bounty Gate soap opera.

Jacoby Jones Lands The Cover Of Sports Illustrated

Yesiball sports

It’s funny how fast things change. Just a year ago, Baltimore Ravens wide out Jacoby Jones was being chased out of Houston by Texans fans who bashed him throughout his whole career. Well now Jones will have the last laugh because those same Texans fans had to watch him torch the San Francisco 49ers for 290 all purpose yards and two touchdowns in the Super Bowl.

Although Jones was basically robbed in his hometown for the game’s MVP, he has been selected by the Sports Illustrated for the cover of their Super Bowl XLVII issue. Congrats to Jones for bouncing back and helping lead his team to the Lombardi trophy.
